A profile holds a company's contact details once, so you can assign it to many products. There are two kinds:
Manufacturer: who makes the product. Every product needs one.
EU responsible person: a company in the EU that answers for products whose manufacturer is outside the EU. Only those products need one.
Go to GPSR › Profiles and click Add manufacturer or Add EU responsible person.
Fill in the details:
Internal name: only you and your staff see it, to tell profiles apart.
Legal business name: shown to shoppers.
Address: address line 1, postal code, city and country are required; address line 2 and region are optional.
Contact: an email address or a website, at least one. Phone is optional.
Click Create profile.
An EU responsible person must be located in an EU country. The profile list shows whether each manufacturer is In the EU or Outside the EU, and whether it's Assigned to products.
Click a profile's menu, then Edit. Changes apply to every product that uses the profile.
You can only delete a profile that isn't assigned to any product. Remove it from those products first.
