The guarantee widget shows the official notice, and the GARAN label when a product has one, on your product pages. It needs to be on every product template your products use.
Go to EU Guarantee & GARAN › Widgets and click Add widget. Your theme editor opens on the next product template still missing it.
Place it where shoppers see it before they buy, for example near the Add to cart button, then click Save.
Come back to the app and repeat until every template shows it as added.
The notice's text and design are set by EU law, so you can't edit them. Complimus shows the official notice in the language the shopper is browsing in, for all 24 official EU languages, and in English otherwise.
You can change how it's presented, in EU Guarantee & GARAN › Widgets:
Layout: Always visible shows the notice and label directly; Collapsible section hides them until the title is selected; Popup shows the title as a link that opens them.
Title and description: shown above the notice, and as the link or section title. Translate them into each language your store publishes.
Size and spacing: alignment, the notice's and label's maximum width, the space between them, and the space above and below.
Collapsible section style: the icon (chevron, arrow, or plus and minus) and the top and bottom borders.
Changes apply to every template.
