I make my own products. Am I the manufacturer?
Yes. Create a manufacturer profile with your own business details. If you're in the EU, you don't need an EU responsible person.
When do I need an EU responsible person?
Only when the manufacturer is outside the EU. Complimus checks the manufacturer's country and tells you on each product whether one is needed.
I resell products from many brands. Do I need a profile for each?
Yes, one manufacturer profile per brand or company. Create each once, then assign it to all its products in one go with Assign profiles.
Do I have to add a declaration of conformity?
Complimus marks a product Complete only with a link to its declaration of conformity. Not every product legally has one, so check with your supplier. Host the document yourself or link to the manufacturer's page.
Which products does Complimus check?
Active, published products. Drafts and archived products aren't counted.
Where is the GPSR information stored?
On your products and in your store, as Shopify metafields and metaobjects. It stays in Shopify if you edit the product elsewhere.
Can I show GPSR information only to EU shoppers?
Yes. In GPSR › Widgets, turn on Outside EU markets under When to hide it.
Is GPSR included in my plan?
GPSR comes at no extra cost.
